Looking back to the first trimester
The first thing that goes
into mind is that all of us are biting nails in anticipation of
holidays. We have reached the point when our main concern is to step
our efforts up and to go down that road until the very end. It is
just a situation when the end justifies the means. Nevertheless it
would be honest to say that we are definitely stressed out. Frankly speaking,
sometimes I was inundated and didn`t manage to accomplish my
tasks on time, and I wanted just to bury my head in the sand and to have
a rest. So let`s just make a brief summary of our achievements during
the first trimester to bounce back our moral.
As for me, I`ve put some goals
to achieve in the beginning of my studying. I desired to improve my degree
of spoken and written language, to learn how to organize my train of thoughts
into an ordered story, to put my mistakes right and of course, to expand
my vocabulary.
More or less, I sorted
these problems out. Moreover, I have done it in a fruitful collaboration
with my groupmates and our lecturer. The insight into having a common
goal fostered our team spirit and motivated mutual
help and support.
To summarize, the results of
the first trimester are fulfilling. As for me, I have learnt a lot of
useful collocations, proverbs, idioms. Out of sight, out of mind? It`s
absolutely not about our Vocabulary lessons!
